Background
A Senior Business Analyst is to provide support and expertise in the impact analysis of our client’s financial system for the implementation of a new accounting standard.
Technical Criteria
Must demonstrate having a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing advice regarding the functionality of asset accounting of an Enterprise Resource Planning system (I.e. SAP, Oracle) that has more than one module – such as asset accounting module, materiel management module, and/or plant maintenance module.
Must demonstrate having two (2) years’ experience in the last five (5) years working with large data sets of 10 million records or more.
Must have at least three (3) projects providing experience related to capital asset accounting/valuation in a Federal or Provincial Government Department which have been undertaken in the last five (5) years. The total experience must be at minimum two (2) years.
Must have a valid Government of Canada Reliability clearance.
Should have expertise in Capital Asset Accounting in an ERP system within an organization having capital assets with a minimum net book value of $100M. Should demonstrate having experience working on capital asset accounting and inventory accounting in an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle.
Should have experience in developing impact analysis on financial systems changes: The bidder should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has experience in the last ten (10) years analysing and developing recommendations for changes to financial systems (ERP such as SAP or Oracle).
