Background
A Senior Business Analyst will provide advice and guidance to the client’s team on the Department’s on the financial continuity schedule’s operation and maintenance for the on-going financial reporting of the client’s accounting standard
Technical Criteria
Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience providing advice regarding the functionality of an Enterprise Resource Planning system (I.e. SAP, Oracle) that has more than one module – such as asset accounting module, materiel management module, and/or plant maintenance module.
Must have two (2) years’ experience in the last five (5) years working with Microsoft Power BI and Power Query for Excel analyze large data sets of 5 million records or more.
Must have worked in at least three (3) projects having developed a complex data reporting solution in a Federal or Provincial Government Department which have been undertaken in the last 5 years
Must have a valid Government of Canada Reliability clearance.
Should have experience in developing complex reporting documents: Have experience in developing complex data reporting documents for capital asset accounting.
Should have experience in making recommendations and developing reporting solutions: Have experience in the last 10 years in advising and developing a solution for large sets of data to present a consolidated report.
Tasks to be performed:
