Senior Project Manager - HR and Pay Systems

Background
A Senior Project Manager will be supporting the client for the successful development and implementation of concrete measures to address redundancy in processes and procedures as well as the delivery of new HR capabilities that will decrease the impact on employees pay related issues.
Technical Criteria
Must have at least one of the following:
- A Project Professional certification; OR
- A university degree in a related Project Management discipline; OR
- A two-year college diploma in a related Project Management discipline and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related Project Management discipline; OR
- A university degree in any field and a minimum of five (5) years in a related Project Management discipline; OR
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in a related Project Management discipline.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years in creating project management documentation. Demonstrated experience must include at least 2 of the following:
- Project Charter
- Project Management plan
- Work breakdown structure
- Project plan
- Project Close Out
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years in cost estimating, developing, and following a budget.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years in activity and resource planning.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years in developing and adhering to project schedules.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the last ten (10) years in risk management.
Must have a valid Government of Canada Reliability Clearance.
Tasks to be performed:
- Plan, direct and provide input on project schedule, scope, and cost parameters;
- Provide oversight and project management for the implementation of a project;
- Analyze, evaluate and recommend alternatives as applicable based on make/buy, impact and cost benefit considerations;
- Coordinate and manage project tasks as defined in the project charter, in order to meet milestones and schedule;
- Update and maintain project schedules
- Plan and manage project cost in accordance with scope, tasks and budget;
- Identify conflicts to critical path priorities, advise and recommend ways to mitigate these issues;
- Collect and validate project requirements, risk and interdependencies;
- Prepare and deliver project status updates; and
- Any other Project Management related tasks.
