Background

A Senior Technical Business Analyst will be working along side the client’s business process owners and Enterprise and Technical Solution Architects, ensuring that the business requirements are correctly gathered, documented and translated into the technical aspects of each solution. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for assisting Architects with the successful implementation of designed solutions.

Technical Criteria

Must be eligible to work in Canada prior to August 15, 2021.

Must have experience working as a Senior Technical Business Analyst.

Must have experience with cloud-based API integration services and technology.

Must have experience with cloud-based Dev/Sec/Ops processes.

Should have local knowledge and experience with Government of Saskatchewan, or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape.

Should have technical background with experience communicating technical concepts to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to various levels within an organization.

Should have experience in the following:

• Participating and facilitating business process model discovery and planning workshops and requirements gathering sessions to elicit business and technical requirements with an emphasis of understanding the business priorities.
• Preparing project documents including, but not limited to, testing plans, and use cases and user stories based on business processes.
• Effectively analyzing complex problems, situations, practices, or procedures.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating into business rules.
• Defining and outlining the scope of the business problem, opportunity, or business outcome and identifying possible solution alternatives.
• As a Senior Technical Business Analyst on one (1) or more successful project(s) working with technical teams to ensure their translation of requirements to solutions meets the needs of the users and integrates into a prescribed architectural framework.
• Researching, developing, and recommending new business service delivery approaches taking advantage of modern cloud based technical solutions.
• Preparing feasibility studies, business cases, technical assessments, project charters, user manuals, system manuals, policies, processes, and procedures, etc.
